This Thursday evening, February 17, Ann Lane Hedlund, textile scholar and anthropologist, will present an illustrated talk about Gloria F. Ross’s career to introduce her new book, Gloria F. Ross & Modern Tapestry (Yale University Press 2010). Sponsored by the Mount Holyoke Club of New York, the talk takes place at the new exhibition space of Jane Kahan Fine Arts in midtown Manhattan, where woven works orchestrated by Gloria F. Ross are on display until March 25. The presentation will be followed by a guided tour of the tapestries, book signing and wine reception.
